We are pleased to introduce KEF's new BTS30 compact custom installation amplifier system, capable of delivering Hi-Fi quality audio to a pair of speakers, both surface-mounted and in-wall.
It is a system consisting of two elements: a wall-mountable keyboard unit with Bluetooth connectivity, and a compact 30-watt class D amplifier with high connectivity.
The keypad unit is simplicity itself with four buttons and an LED indicator display within a 45 x 45mm European type module. Its four buttons make it easy to adjust volume, select the source and prepare the system for Bluetooth pairing.
The BTS30 is capable of delivering 2x15W at 8ohms for stereo applications, or 30W at 4ohms bridged to a single channel. It is highly flexible thanks to its analog output, which offers the possibility of expansion to other amplifiers and additional systems.
Users can even decide whether to use a mono or stereo output, and set a maximum volume. The BTS30 is not only designed to deliver great sound, but also to be easy to install and attractive for commercial use.
The amplifier and keyboard units are connected via twisted pair cables terminated in RJ45, with a maximum length of 20 metres, making positioning in more difficult installations possible and simple.
With the keyboard unit certified for IP64 water resistance, and the amplifier unit certified UL2043 that allows installation in bathrooms and indoor outdoors.
