The WiiM Amp is an amplifier that can access most streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music or Qobuz and also has multi-room functionality.
With an output of 60 watts at 8 ohms or 100 watts at 4 ohms, the WiiM Amp is ideal for powering a pair of in-ceiling, bookshelf or even floorstanding speakers. Full connectivity allows many sources to be linked, including a TV with HDMI ARC or Toslink fibre optics.
Once connected to the Internet via home WiFi or Ethernet cable, the WiiM amplifier offers access to countless streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Tidal, Napster, Apple Music or Tidal. This connected amplifier WiiM also allows you to take advantage of web radios thanks to its compatibility with iHeartRadio and TuneIn.
In addition to streaming services, the WiiM Amp amplifier can receive music from an iPhone, iPad, iPod or Mac thanks to the AirPlay 2 protocol. For an Android device, streaming is easy thanks to the integrated Chromecast. The WiiM Amp amplifier also integrates a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver for all smartphones, tablets or computers that do not support AirPlay 2. The Bluetooth module of the WiiM Amp is bidirectional, which also makes it possible to stream so that music can be listened to with Bluetooth headphones in private.
The connected WiiM Amp has the same benefit of a full connection to easily pair with all your sources. Thanks to the RCA and optical input, it is possible to connect a CD player, a pre-amplified vinyl or a computer, for example. The HDMI ARC port facilitates the connection of a television and allows direct retrieval of the sound track of the programme displayed. The USB-A port allows music files stored on a USB stick or external disk to be read. In addition, the amplifier WiiM Amp offers a 24-bit/192 kHz compatible coaxial output to connect an external DAC. In addition, the RCA inputs can be switched to preamplified outputs, allowing the WiiM Amp to be linked to an external power amplifier.
The WiiM amplifier provides amplification capable of 60 watts per 8-ohm channel and 100 watts per 4-ohm channel. To do this, the WiiM Amp amplifier allows you to broadcast music throughout your home in 3 different operating modes. If you use Apple equipment, you can use Airplay 2 to install it in your multi-room system. If you use Amazon applications, you can use AVS Multiroom technology. The amplifier WiiM can also be associated with other LinkPlay compatible multi-room equipment. You can broadcast a different music suite in each room or the same title throughout the house. To suit all your wishes, you can easily adjust the volume independently for each zone.
Very easy to use, the amplifier WiiM Amp is mainly controlled by the Wiim Home application. The latter allows you to manage multi-room groups, control the music and access various online music services, webradios and DLNA title sharing. Thanks to support for Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri voice assistants, it is also possible to control music vocally by pairing the WiiM Amp amplifier with a complete set of these assistants. The WiiM Amp amplifier includes the WiiM Remote with an integrated mic to directly activate the voice assistants of your choice.
