STAX is a company founded in 1938. In 1959 it developed the world's first electrostatic headphones and introduced the SR-1 in 1960. Today, STAX continues its legacy by offering the most sophisticated headphones for both professional and audiophile use.

STAX calls its headphones Earspeakers, or in Spanish, Ear Speakers. They have been named this way because of their Ultra Hi-Fi when playing music, which can only be compared with the quality of speakers, more than with other headphones.

Once they start in the world of electrostatics, few go back.

With its newly developed fixed electrode “MLER-3”, Stax evolved the metal mesh diaphragm, the size of which has been increased by 20% compared to the SR-009S. This advance allows us to obtain the widest sound field in history. Concept of the flagship SR-Omega model, it revives a very nostalgic memory for STAX fans with clear and warm quality sound.
