With a very attractive design and a scratch-resistant finish, the Sanctum is a sophisticated base that was born from the need to solve a challenge: the suppression of vibrations that could negatively affect the reproduction of audio signals, vibrations present in practically any component that is part of a High Fidelity equipment. Specifically, the Sactum has been meticulously machined in five places: four recesses (one in each corner) and a central circular hole designed to eliminate any possible standing waves present in the platform itself. At an engineering level, the new Blue Horizon base exhibits a high level of sophistication, as reflected by the structure of the insulating feet that appear in each of the aforementioned recesses. Feet with a complex structure composed of three key materials: first, a very compact random mixture of cork, rubber and leather to break up potential resonances; secondly, a viscoelastic polymer that combines high shock absorption with high vibration insulation; Third and last, an aluminum cone with high precision machining. To all this we must add the presence, in the assembly constituted by each foot, of an outer ring that allows the Sactum to float freely on its feet when it is in its final position.
