Applying their knowledge and experience, DALI engineers have further improved the sound quality of one of their most successful models and created an exciting new finish for MENUET SE. This speaker is DALI's tribute to high-level stereo reproduction in a compact format. The first and most obvious change is its attractive aesthetic, with the new Wild Walnut High Gloss finish. The varnish is created using a natural walnut wood blend, meaning each MENUET SE pair has a unique look. These speakers are hand-assembled with great care, tested and given the finishing touches by the same DALI employee, thus ensuring the highest possible quality. After the final quality test and inspection, each speaker receives a special metal plate with the initials of the DALI employee who assembled it. Inside, the crossover has been substantially upgraded with MundorfTM capacitors that have been specifically selected through extensive listening tests. The MENUET SE crossover board material has been changed to upgrade to one with ultra-high electrical insulation, which minimizes electrical interference between individual parts of the crossover. All crossover parts are point-to-point hard-wired with silver-plated oxygen-free copper wires. The MENUET SE woofer also features a fiberglass voice coil, which reduces its mechanical loss and minimizes distortion.
