A distinguished 2-way/2-speaker bass-reflex monitor for rack mounting or on dedicated stands, featuring first and foremost the revolutionary "True Ribbon" tweeter, the result of four years of exhaustive work by QUAD's engineering team to further reproduce the subtleties that are the heart and soul of music.
This transducer is complemented by a high-performance midwoofer that is again the direct consequence of several years of research, development, evaluation and continuous improvement, most notably the use of a new fibre-based composition in the cone, aptly named "Reveal". Refined for seamless integration with the aforementioned "True Ribbon", the cone has been selected for its stiffness and excellent damping properties.
Together with an innovative, custom-developed rubber peripheral suspension to facilitate large displacements without distortion, and a high-powered motor, it allows for perfectly articulated mids and precise, fast and deep bass.
Let us finally note that the Revela 1's driver management is entrusted to a phase-compensated Linkwitz-Riley frequency divider filter, whose final configuration has been determined by combining the most advanced computer-aided design techniques with hundreds of hours of critical listening.
