The key component of the Q5 is the ESS ES9028PRO 8-channel DAC, which dedicates 4 channels to the left audio signal and 4 channels to the right audio signal to ensure extremely accurate digital-to-analogue conversion, delivering outstanding sound quality with minimal distortion.
Fully balanced circuitry and two toroidal transformers reduce noise and interference for crystal clear sound reproduction of any CD. In addition, the Q5 supports 32-bit/384 kHz signals (MQA and 4x DSD rendering) via PC-USB and 24-bit/192 kHz via optical and coaxial connection, thus offering high versatility for digital sources in any audio system.
The front panel incorporates a full-colour TFT touch screen with CD album artwork that adds extra visual appeal to the user's listening experience.
