Starting point of the JBL Conceal range, the Conceal C62 is a high-performance “invisible” speaker for custom installations. It is based on a single panel design with a highly rigid frame that houses the usual speakers and components in a conventional wall or ceiling recessed speaker box. This frame is fixed directly to the wall/ceiling structure, while the front of the speaker (an exclusive JBL FidelityGlass panel based on a compression-molded baffle) incorporates a highly smooth and robust surface that has been designed to be finished in a similar way to the surrounding environment.
Regarding its acoustic configuration, the Conceal uses a studied combination of transducers that work in tandem with the FidelityGlass acoustic panel, specifically one to reproduce the mid and high frequency ranges and a 165 mm (6'5”) woofer in diameter with integrated back box to reproduce low frequencies. The combination of these custom-designed speakers with a very high-quality crossover filter allows the Conceal C62 to exhibit sound quality comparable to that of the best traditional in-wall speaker systems.
