The EM ESL C is an elegant and refined speaker designed to reproduce with maximum transparency the dialogues and front ambient effects in high quality/price ratio Home Theater systems. The solution chosen in this case by the legendary American manufacturer is a powerful hybrid configuration that combines no less than three different types of transducers developed by Martin Logan herself. In this way, the reproduction of the middle zone is entrusted to a system made up of two of the firm's emblematic CLS XStat curvilinear electrostatic transducers, which allow for a total emissive area of 740 square centimeters. The upper part of the spectrum is taken care of by one of the innovative tweeters with a folded motion diagram, which thanks to its accordion-shaped structure and its extraordinary lightness, offers exceptionally agile, dynamic and detailed representation of all types of micro-information. MartinLogan's new center speaker is completed with two compact aluminum cone woofers designed for long travel. Mounted in one of Martin Logan 's traditional non-resonant chambers in the exclusive CenterForce scheme, these two woofers allow the EM ESL C to reproduce frequencies up to 66 Hz.
