With an identical aesthetic – although with the cabinet in a horizontal arrangement – to that of the Serafino Tradition and Amati Tradition models, the Vox Tradition is an imposing and stylized 3-way, 5-speaker speaker with construction and finishes that border on perfection. . From a technological point of view, the Vox Tradition draws, like the rest of the models in the Homage Tradition range, from the imaginative solutions incorporated in such renowned Sonus Faber creations as the Lilium, the Il Cremonese and the Olympia Collection. This is the case of the reinvented lute-shaped enclosure, iconic in the Italian firm, or the sophisticated “Stealth Ultraflex” port, an evolution of the “Stealth Reflex” system whose external part on the rear panel of the enclosure is made of extruded aluminum, with in order to optimally control the flow and speed of the air circulating through the duct, thus reducing any possible turbulence and therefore the distortion associated with it. Like its range-mates, the Vox Tradition incorporates very high-performance speakers derived from those used in the Il Cremonese model and which are also used in the Serafino Tradition column. Specifically, it is a 28 mm diameter silk dome tweeter with a rear chamber, two 150 mm midrange speakers with ultralinear response and two 180 mm sandwich structure ultralight cone woofers, which are managed by a filter. Non-resonant design crossover with optimized amplitude and phase response, executed with rigorously selected audiophile grade components. Details such as impedance control at low frequencies and the use of circuitry with a double transfer function to optimize the integration between bass and room speak of the sophistication of this filter.
