Designed as the centerpiece and perfect complement to the series' bookshelf (or stand) and floor models Diamond 12, the Diamond 12.C is compact, precise and powerful. Using dual 130mm Klarity drivers for precise and refined mid and bass frequencies, while the 25mm dome tweeter delivers open and extended high frequencies seamlessly bringing detail and depth for movies, sports and music.
It also incorporates a Precision magnet system with an aluminum compensation ring to minimize the effect of variations in inductance as the voice coil travels. This contributes to the absence of distortion and intermodulation generated by the "motor system". The voice coil is wound on a high power fiberglass/epoxy coil very unusual in speakers at this price level. This has the advantage of not adding eddy currents and offering greater power handling than an aluminum coil, while also being much stiffer than the Kapton type associated with this price class.
