Circumaural and closed-back, the Noire X is a thoughtful update to the iconic Aeon 2 Noire, incorporating the revolutionary and unique Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System (ATMS, used in the elite Stealth, Expensa and Corina models) and an improved transducer, all packaged in a package where ergonomics shine through.

In addition, the fusion of extensive research and development optimisations with advanced manufacturing processes allows for a level of detail previously only found in reference headphones.

The new Dan Clark Audio also includes notable refinements to its external appearance, with state-of-the-art ear cushions finished in synthetic Alcantara suede and a self-adjusting headband (by tensioning to ensure even pressure on the user's head), which avoids hot spots and pressure points that can cause discomfort and/or fatigue.

Gorilla Glass 3 shells and support for a wide range of connectors (1/4", 3.5 mm, 4-pin XLR and balanced 4.4 mm) ensure compatibility with a wide range of amplifiers.

A direct result of this concentrate of engineering solutions, the Noire Xs exhibit an expansive soundstage, punchy bass, silky mids and vibrant highs - qualities that make them ideal for long hours of listening to all kinds of musical genres.
