The RS520 is a refined stereophonic electronics that combines a preamplifier, network music player (with the corresponding DAC functionality) and power amplifier in a single chassis to offer the demanding music lover a very high-level proposal without the formal complications inherent to a system formed by separate components.
As is usual in the majority of HiFi ROSE versions, the entire front panel is occupied by a 12.6” (320 mm) touch LCD display screen with 4K resolution, which supports various configuration options depending on the functionality that is required. is being used at all times.
Inside the RS520 what we find is an exhibition of cutting-edge technology embodied in the fusion of exclusive engineering solutions and premium components. Thus, in the DAC section we find an operational amplifier made with discrete components developed by HiFi ROSE, with the aim of further reducing distortion and maximizing the naturalness of the sound.
Another significant element of this superb all-in-one electronics is the Active Power Factor Correction (Active PFC) used in the power supply, essential to guarantee an extremely pure power supply to critical audio components.
Regarding the amplification section, the RS520 works, like the sensational RA180 stereo integrated amplifier, in the so-called Class AD (“Advanced D”), which guarantees exceptional linearity in the entire power delivery, thanks to the use of FET transistors based on Gallium Nitride (GaN) instead of Silicon.
Roon Ready approved, the new HiFi Rose is completed with a high-performance parametric equalizer and generous connectivity.
