The iFi ZEN One Signature is the first iFi ZEN DAC to support all high-resolution codecs: DSD256, PCM384, MQA 384 kHz and Bluetooth 96 kHz.
The iFi ZEN One Signature's next-generation Bluetooth HD technology ensures the best sound from all sources, expanding support for high-definition codecs: aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, LDAC and HWA/LHDC. High gain antenna offers extended Bluetooth range. We use Qualcomm's new QCC5100 Bluetooth processing IC in combination with proprietary circuitry to create an audibly superior "Bluetooth Engine."

The Burr-Brown True Native® chipset means file formats remain unchanged or "bit-perfected." This means you are listening to music as the artist intended in the format in which it was recorded. At iFi we use Burr Brown extensively in our products, as we selected it for its natural sounding "musicality" and True Native architecture. Our experience with this IC means we know how to get the most out of it.
MQA is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. The master MQA file is fully authenticated and small enough to stream or download. The iFi ZEN One Signature adopts MQA technology to receive and decode MQA audio and provide Master-level sound.
Extensive jitter-eradication technologies are applied to the digital stage, including our GMT (Global Master Timing) femtoprecision clock and intelligent memory buffer. The low-jitter crystal clock has been updated to provide >20 dB better performance.
The Panasonic OS-CON components used total 5410 µF and provide very low equivalent series resistance (ESR), excellent noise reduction capability and frequency response characteristics. Furthermore, OS-CONs have a long lifespan and their ESR changes little even at low temperatures, since the electrolyte is solid.
Texas Instruments low-noise ICs offer large unity gain bandwidth, very low noise and distortion, high output drive capability, common mode and power supply rejection ratios of over 100 dB , wide maximum output oscillation bandwidths and high slew rates.
TDK C0G (Ceramic Class 1) and multilayer muRata control type, low ESR and high Q capacitors are used. The "ESR control" aspect of the Murata is something special. Its noise suppression capabilities are impressive.
We use ELNA Japan Silmic II capacitors for the power supplies.
The main component of the newly developed dielectric is silk fiber. This material was believed to be as unfathomable as an aluminum electrolytic capacitor. The new material beats silk fiber and mixes it with Manila hemp fiber to provide the dielectric to an aluminum electrolytic capacitor used for high-quality music. The result is unsurpassed acoustic properties and excellent linearity.
