The Motion AFX is a speaker system that takes advantage of Martin Logan 's unique experience to make its Motion 15, 20, 35XT, 40 and 60XT models compatible with the demands of Dolby Atmos multi-dimensional surround sound decoding. Specifically, the Motion AFX is a “Dolby Atmos Enabled” speaker specifically designed to be placed on top of the aforementioned models (although it is also compatible with other brands), in order to reflect sound towards the ceiling in configurations in where it is not possible to install loudspeakers in that location. From a technical point of view, the Motion AFX is an ultra-compact speaker with an airtight enclosure (acoustic suspension operation) that combines a 19 mm diameter aluminum dome tweeter with a 133 polypropylene cone mid/bass driver. mm. Beautifully finished in glossy black, this enclosure stands out for having a geometry specially designed so that the aforementioned speakers are oriented towards the ceiling in order to accurately reproduce Dolby Atmos recordings above the spectators.
