The sophistication of the CD-Pro 8, built from precision machining of a solid block of aluminium, is also reflected in the fact that its entire body is suspended in a unique anti-vibration system that allows the level of external vibrations penetrating the body to be precisely controlled. In this way, the CD reading mechanism is stabilised and secured, unaffected at all times by external influences. In addition, a new-generation magnetic presser made of aluminium ensures perfect contact between the disc and the optical drive, thus contributing to smooth disc rotation and perfect readability. As far as connectivity is concerned, the CD Box RST 2's status as a genuinely high-end product means that it incorporates not only the traditional S/PDIF outputs in coaxial and optical format, but also a professional AES/EBU type output with XLR connector and even an I2S+Masterclok via HDMI connector.
