This fibre optic cable model uses the highest quality laser modules and driver chips for improved image quality and durability. They support 48Gbps data throughput, which is required for next generation 8K video installations.

The next generation 8K/120 HDMI 2.1 video standard requires cables capable of transmitting the necessary bandwidth up to 48Gb per second. Traditional copper HDMI cables only support 48Gbps over short distances of up to 7 or 8 metres. Optical fibre is required to transmit the signal over much greater distances and at higher speeds to avoid any loss of quality, especially if you have large projection screens that require the projector to be located a considerable distance away.

The superior speed of the WWC Stellar cable allows anti-copy copyright protocols to communicate faster between the source and the player with improved transition times when switching between different video sources.
