STAX is a company founded in 1938. In 1959 it developed the world's first electrostatic headphones and introduced the SR-1 in 1960. Today, STAX continues its legacy by offering the most sophisticated headphones for both professional and audiophile use.
STAX calls its headphones Earspeakers, or in Spanish, Ear Speakers. They have been named this way because of their Ultra Hi-Fi when playing music, which can only be compared with the quality of speakers, more than with other headphones.
Once they start in the world of electrostatics, few go back.
The SRM-T8000 is STAX's top tier in electrostatic amplification. It has hybrid technology, 6922 tubes and class A output. Its toroidal transformers and select parts offer a very refined sound.
