Prestige X is the latest version of the renowned Grado Prestige headphone range. It features a new 38 ohm driver for an even more rounded sound, specifically designed for the latest version of the entry-level range from Grado Labs.
The improved speaker design of the X Series features a new magnetic circuit that has been optimised to improve overall efficiency. Coupled with a new voice coil and diaphragm design, distortion is minimised while enhancing harmonic integrity. As a result, the new Prestige Series is easier to move around portable devices and delivers the best possible audio quality.
Grado Labs the Prestige Series has chosen a powder-coated aluminium housing for these headphones because it gives them weight, resulting in smoother transitions from lower to higher frequencies. You also get authentic 1960s styling, as the New York-based company has retained the original design of the headphones it began making in that era. This inimitable vintage aesthetic is completed by a genuine top-grain leather headband that is resistant to hair products.
The cable has also been improved for the Prestige X Series. It is now coated with fabric, giving it flexibility and increased durability. In addition, the SR325 features 8 copper conductors for increased signal purity.
SR325X is the flagship of the range. For this reason, it has a genuine top-grain leather headband, resistant to wear and tear as well as to hair products (waxes, hair gel). In addition, its design has been optimised for comfort during even the longest listening sessions.
