A robust amplifier that encloses in its same chassis a music server, or streamer, that allows you to enjoy any content from the Internet or your own hard drive connected to your network to enjoy your music files, even high-resolution ones.
It allows wireless link from your mobile devices via Bluetooth and can be controlled through a free application. It offers the option of inserting a specific BluOS module to turn it into another element of your home multiroom system.

The MDC BluOS 2i expansion module allows you to add modular design NAD devices to integrate into the BluOS streaming and multi-room ecosystem.
Available for iOS, macOS, Android and Windows, the flexible BluOS Controller app provides access to hundreds of Internet radio stations and more than 20 streaming services. Like all BluOS products, the MDC BluOS 2i module supports high-resolution playback up to 24-bit/192kHz, as well as MQA. With the MDC BluOS 2i module, users can share music from any source connected to the host component with up to 63 BluOS-enabled components on the same network spread throughout the home. Playback can also be controlled using Alexa or Google voice commands, and from smart home control systems from Crestron, Control4, Lutron, RTI and others.
The MDC BluOS 2i module not only includes the latest Wi-Fi and Ethernet protocols, but also supports Apple AirPlay2, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, and features two-way Qualcomm aptX HD Bluetooth. There's also a USB port for playing music from a connected USB drive. With an MDC BluOS 2i module installed, NAD components with MDC expansion bays can play music from a wide range of local, network and cloud sources. And thanks to its two-way communications architecture, MDC is prepared for technology upgrades that have not yet been conceived.
