At its core, the S4700 uses a new 15-inch cast-frame woofer (2216Nd) with a powerful 3-inch dual voice coil and neodymium motor structure for outstanding balance with horn-loaded compression drivers.
Mid and high frequencies are reproduced by a pair of titanium diaphragm compression drivers and a one-piece dual SonoGlass horn assembly.
The 1.75-inch (175Nd-3) Aqua-Plas-coated titanium diaphragm compression driver is coupled to a 90° x 60° Bi-Radial horn and delivers mid and high frequencies with realistic dynamics and stunning realism, while an ultra.
The 0.75-inch (138Nd) high-frequency titanium diaphragm compression driver with a 60° x 30° bi-radial horn recreates critical air and amplitude.
