To achieve a powerful yet controlled sound, they feature an advanced motor structure that minimises distortion, allowing higher sound pressure levels without compression. Precise driver control is made possible by a sophisticated Linkwitz-Riley 4th order crossover design, equipped with polyester film capacitors and oxygen-free cables.
The Synchrony T800 achieves optimum openness and clarity of sound using a combination of IsoAcoustics' custom-designed, integrated isolation feet, which effectively prevent the reflection of mechanical energy generated by the drivers and cabinet back into the enclosure.
The cabinet itself is constructed from robust, acoustically inert MDF, with aluminium-clad front panels to ensure maximum rigidity and density. Each woofer resides in individually tuned chambers with rear ports, effectively mitigating standing waves within the speaker.
