Based on a temperature controlled quartz crystal (OCXO) developed entirely by Esoteric , the G-02X is a very high performance synchronism watch that also adopts elements of the fabulous Grandioso G1 to offer excellent precision in the clock frequency (+ /-0.01 ppm) and reduce phase noise with respect to the previous model (3 dB to be exact). Like its older brother, the G-02X includes several Wide Range Clock Buffer Amplifiers for each output line to maximize both sound quality and the accuracy and stability of the sync signal. For its part, the “Adaptive Zero Ground” mode actively brings the value of the ground signal down to 0 volts in order to substantially reduce the noise (“random jitter”) caused by variations in the ground voltage.
As a very high-performance audio component that it is, the G-02X houses an opulent power supply with two transformers (one main toroidal type and one EI type for the digital control section) that is complemented by a powerful provision of filtering capacitors and Shottky barrier diodes, the latter to maximize the speed of digital processing. Like the G-01X, the G-02X can supply sync signal up to a maximum of eight components, also including a preheat function for the quartz oscillator. All this is complemented by an all-metal and anti-resonant construction with exceptional machining.
