Compact, stylish and extraordinarily affordable, this “pack” of Home Theater speakers that replaces the celebrated DX-2 has been aesthetically remodeled with a design close to that of Wharfedale 's celebrated Diamond 12 Series, with slimmer enclosures but also equipped with resonance control and superior dynamic performance.
Like its predecessor, the DX-3 consists of four front and rear satellites, a compact center speaker and an active subwoofer tuned for seamless integration with the front and rear speakers.
Redesigned to offer more refined sound performance, the satellites mount a silk dome tweeter and a “midwoofer” with a polypropylene-based cone, whose acoustic properties are very similar to those of the speakers that can be found in the aforementioned Series. Diamond 12.
For its part, the extension of the bass response is entrusted to the 203 mm diameter woofer and the 70 W RMS amplifier incorporated into the subwoofer of the set, which has a structure very similar to that of the popular Wharfedale WH-D8 model. .
