floor speaker
The most compact of the Wharfedale Diamond 12 series floor options, the Diamond 12.3 does not lose the precision and musicality of the shelf (or stand) options. With enhanced presence and power, the Diamond 12.3 is a perfect, affordable floorstanding speaker for 2-channel hi-fi systems, or as the front pair of a truly impressive home theater system. Configured in a 2.5-way system with exceptional crossover technology, the Diamond 12.3 uses dual 130mm Klarity drivers for punchy yet refined midrange and bass frequencies, while the 25mm dome tweeter delivers open high frequencies. and gently extended.
It also incorporates a Precision magnet system with an aluminum compensation ring to minimize the effect of variations in inductance as the voice coil travels. This contributes to the absence of distortion and intermodulation generated by the "motor system". The voice coil is wound on a high power fiberglass/epoxy coil very unusual in speakers at this price level. This has the advantage of not adding eddy currents and offering greater power handling than an aluminum coil, while also being much stiffer than the Kapton type associated with this price class.

Wharfedale 's SW series of subwoofers deliver a level of performance never before seen in its class. Revolutionary drive units, amplifier modules and filter stages are featured in each model. They strike the perfect balance between power and sound quality, offering notable levels of sound pressure, but retaining enough control to be considered audiophile in quality. The new range of SW subwoofers comes with a number of new features. They now come with unpressed paper cones to increase self-damping, improve transient impact and increase the structural rigidity of the internal cone. The center vents are copper-coated to reduce magnetic distortion and improve heat dissipation. Even using solid, well-designed power amplifiers, the SW subwoofers are optimized for high impact at low frequencies and are ideal for movies or music.
