The first key design element of the F3100 is a “hull” created to minimize the distance between the eardrum and the transducer. Thus, the user can place the headset both in the back area and at the entrance to the ear canal, as well as modify the sound quality by choosing different “plugs”, which in turn can be made of silicone or foam. On the other hand, the user can also change the position of the “plug” so that the sound is focused directly on it, which is also an effective way to adjust the sound quality.
Regarding the acoustic part itself, the F3100 combines a sophisticated and tiny full-range “Balanced Armature” type transducer with a 5.5 mm “shell” in diameter, made of synthetic material reinforced with an aluminum and magnesium alloy. Another critical engineering element of the F3100 is the unique high-precision MMCX connector, custom made for Final by a renowned Swiss manufacturer.
To this we must add a connection cable with high-purity OFC copper conductors, which has been specifically designed to maximize parameters such as the width of the sound scene or the extension of the bass response. All this is complemented by effective synthetic material insulation.
