Pro-Ject Audio Systems has taken another step in its obsession with satisfying the most varied demands by creating the version for its S2 line of the celebrated MaiA integrated amplifier with DAC functionality. And it has done so by maintaining the spectacular features of the base model with the “plus” of a modern aesthetic, an aluminum enclosure and improved circuitry.

Thus, the MaiA S2 allows, despite its small size, the simultaneous connection of up to 9 audio sources thanks to 1 high-quality MM/MC compatible phono input, 3 analog line inputs (2 with RCA connectors and 1 with for 3.5 mm jack), 1 XMOS asynchronous USB input compatible 24-bit/192 kHz, 1 coaxial digital input compatible 24-bit/192 kHz, 2 EIAJ-TosLink optical digital inputs compatible 24-bit/96 kHz and a Bluetooth input ( aptX support included) for wireless audio streaming with dedicated antenna

The superior construction quality of the enclosure and the improvement incorporated in the organization of its printed circuit board result in greater shielding against potential electromagnetic interference that tangibly contributes to enhancing the already excellent sound performance of the original model.
