Sharing the new transmission platform of the H190 and H590, and direct heir to the H360, the new H390 features greater stability than previous models, as well as support for MQA. The Hegel H390 features the company's patented SoundEngine 2 amplifier section.
It also combines a very low power and high distortion amplifier design. This results in an improvement in dynamic capabilities, while maintaining a smooth and natural sound. SoundEngine catches almost all the errors that the amplifier can make, so listening to music at very high volume does not show any type of distortion.
Hegel has designed all sections from scratch, both analog and digital. The digital of the H390, in particular, ensures that the music signal remains unchanged, regardless of the type of signal or input. Hegel's H390 integrated amplifier also incorporates a new proprietary digital clock design to track the sample rate, even in low-resolution files.
Finally, it should be noted that the H390 is prepared to receive more features in the future such as AirPlay 2, Roon, Control4 SDDP, etc.
