The veteran and prestigious Japanese firm Marantz has just launched its first integrated Hi-Fi amplifier equipped with capabilities aimed at facilitating music streaming: the PM7000N. Thanks to HEOS Built-in functionality, the user can stream music from Amazon Music (HD), Spotify Free and Premium, TIDAL, Deezer and other similar online services, as well as from local music file libraries. Equipped with genuine Marantz technologies such as the celebrated Current Feedback amplifier circuit topology and Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules (HDAM), the PM7000N delivers a sound brimming with naturalness combined with the extended dynamic range and low distortion required to play high-resolution digital music without limitations. Also of note at Marantz is a new, carefully designed phono section whose input stage incorporates a high-performance field effect transistor (FET) that provides a high input impedance, eliminates the need for AC coupling capacitors and simplifies the audio signal path, thereby reducing distortion and substantially improving the overall purity of the sound.
