With a dazzling aesthetic reminiscent of iconic McIntosh models such as the MC275 tube stereo power amplifier, the MA352 is a 100% analogue stereo integrated amplifier. In addition, it includes a hybrid circuit architecture that combines a preamplification section based on vacuum tubes – one 12AX7A and one 12AT7 per channel – with a DC-coupled power amplification circuitry that allows it to deliver 200 continuous watts per channel over 8 ohms. or 320 continuous watts per channel into 4 ohms.
The MA352 is equipped with a total of 6 inputs divided into 2 balanced line, 3 unbalanced line and 1 phono input for moving magnet (MM) capsules, to which a set of unbalanced outputs must be added.
It also features two of McIntosh 's exclusive Monogrammed Heatsinks to maximize the thermal stability of its output section's advanced high-current, high-speed transistors, as well as a 5-band analog tone control, a headphone amplifier high current Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD), powerful electronic protection and two iconic elements of the American firm: the treated glass front panel and two elegant analogue VU meters with a blue background.
