The MaiA S3 is an electronic device conceived as an all-in-one solution for Hi-Fi systems in which not only the circuit design has been completely revised, but also the enclosure has been significantly modified, using the brand new S3.
As a result of the larger size of this enclosure compared to its predecessor, Pro-Ject engineers were able to improve the layout of the internal circuits in order to minimize the influence of possible electromagnetic interference.
A total of 8 inputs mean the MaiA S3 can accept virtually any audio source, from turntables equipped with high-output moving magnet or moving coil cartridges to CD players such as Pro-Ject 's own CD Box S3, to digital sources such as a latest generation television or a CD transport mechanism.
With the MaiA S3 it is also possible to stream music from a mobile device, simply by connecting the aptX HD compatible Bluetooth 5.0 input and thus enjoy sound quality equivalent to 24 bits/48 kHz, that is, superior to that of a CD. .
