Epitomizing a half-century of sonic mastery, the NAD C 379 is everything you'd expect from a Classic Series amplifier. Continuing the NAD tradition of offering simplicity, value and innovation, the C 379 includes the latest generation of MDC technology. 80W per channel of Hybrid Digital amplification and a high-performance ESS SABER DAC that allows you to enjoy music with exceptional sound, detail and clarity.
Every detail of the C 379 amplifier design has been polished for the best reproduction. Starting with a custom version of the Hybrid Digital UcD output stage, the C 379 operates in a fully balanced bridge configuration. This enables massive power with almost unmeasurable audible frequency distortion and noise. The power supply delivers 80W continuous and more than 120W on peaks. For even more power, the C 379 can be bridged in mono with the C 268 to deliver up to 300W of distortion-free sound per channel.
The NAD C 379's digital architecture is built around the acclaimed ESS SABER ES9028 DAC, one of the industry's largest 32-bit digital-to-analog converters that features unprecedented dynamic range and low distortion. It offers music in ultra-high quality, free of the usual jitter of digital audio systems. The result is an exceptionally wide dynamic range, ultra-low distortion, precise sound stage and unparalleled clarity.
Since 2006, NAD has led the way in which users can add new audiovisual technologies to their devices at will, giving its range unparalleled playback and quality/price. Now, with the second generation of NAD's Modular Design Construction (MDC) technology, the C 379 is in a class of its own. With two MDC2 ports to expand the functions of the amplifier with AV technology yet to come and additional functions, such as BluOS multi-room streaming or Dirac Live room correction.
The NAD C 379 is well equipped with a catalog of analogue and digital connectivity options including Bluetooth aptX HD, HDMI eARC, MM Phono stage and two subwoofer outputs. aptX HD technology can easily support 24-hour streaming from any compatible Bluetooth device, while HDMI eARC lets you connect the C 379 to your TV and offer easy control from your regular remote control. It also includes a built-in headphone amplifier with low output impedance and large output voltage capability, allowing you to drive a wide range of headphones.
The BluOS Module also makes the C 379 a single-zone transmitter into a complete multi-room wireless music system that is fully compatible with BluOS-enabled wireless speakers and music systems. Easily connect the amplifier to multiple Bluesound speakers throughout your home with the BluOS Controller app, and create an intuitive multi-room music system like no other.
