Epitomising half a century of sound mastery, the NAD C 379 is everything you expect from a Classic Series amplifier. Continuing the NAD tradition of simplicity, value and innovation, the C 379 features the latest generation of MDC technology. 80W per channel Hybrid Digital amplification and a high-performance ESS SABRE DAC allow you to enjoy music with exceptional sound, detail and clarity.
Every detail of the C 379 amplifier's design has been polished to achieve the best reproduction. Starting with a custom version of the Hybrid Digital UcD output stage, the C 379 operates in a fully balanced bridge configuration. This allows for massive power with almost unmeasurable distortion and audible frequency noise. The power supply delivers 80W continuous and more than 120W at peak. For even more power, the C 379 can be bridged in mono with the C 268 to deliver up to 300W of distortion-free sound per channel.
The NAD C 379's digital architecture is built around the acclaimed ESS SABRE ES9028 DAC, one of the industry's largest 32bit digital-to-analogue converters with unprecedented dynamic range and low distortion. It delivers music in ultra-high quality, free from the usual jitter of digital audio systems. The result is exceptionally wide dynamic range, ultra-low distortion, precise sound stage and unparalleled clarity.
Since 2006, NAD has been leading the way in which users can add new audio-visual technologies to their devices at their pleasure, giving its range unparalleled playability and price/quality. Now, with the second generation of NAD's Modular Design Construction (MDC) technology, the C 379 is unique in its class. With two MDC2 ports to expand the amplifier's functions with yet-to-come AV technology and additional features, such as BluOS multi-room streaming or Dirac Live room correction, the NAD C 379 is unique in its class.
The NAD C 379 is well equipped with a catalogue of analogue and digital connectivity options including Bluetooth aptX HD, HDMI eARC, MM phono stage and two subwoofer outputs. The aptX HD technology can easily support 24-it streaming from any compatible Bluetooth devices, while HDMI eARC allows you to connect the C 379 to your TV and offer easy control from your usual remote control. It also includes a built-in headphone amplifier with low output impedance and high output voltage capability, allowing it to drive a wide range of headphones.
The BluOS Module also makes the C 379 a single zone transmitter in a complete multi-room wireless music system that is fully compatible with BluOS-enabled wireless music systems and speakers. Easily connect the amplifier to multiple speakers Bluesound located throughout the home with the BluOS Controller app, and create an intuitive multi-room music system like no other.
