A stunning stereo integrated amplifier that draws from three of Musical Fidelity's elite achievements: the Nu-Vista PRE preamplifier and the Nu-Vista PAS (stereo) and Nu-Vista PAM (mono) power amplifiers.
Compared to the Nu-Vista 600, the Nu-Vista 600.2 now benefits from a power amplifier section inspired by that of the British company's formidable Titan model, including a locally decoupled output stage.
For its part, the printed circuit board topology has been drastically revised and improved while the electrical and electronic components have been upgraded.
The same laser-machined volume control as in the Nu-Vista 800.2 is also used and the power supply has been substantially modernised, with two oversized toroidal transformers, multiple power supply lines and high-precision filtering of the pre-amp and power amp sections.
At the same time, the layout of the various subsystems has been significantly reorganised to improve performance and save space.
As for what is undoubtedly one of the Nu-Vista 600.2's identifying elements, the Nu-Vista stage, it is located on the new upper printed circuit board and is identical to that of the aforementioned PRE, PAS and PAM models.
