Locally enhanced shadows and highlights
Applying the industry-leading Local Contrast Enhancer (LCE) algorithm to divide images into more than 1,000 zones, LCE analyses the brightness of each segment and adjusts gamma independently for greater definition of dark and bright details and increased image depth.
Full image optimisation
BenQ Dynamic Black technology dynamically adjusts projection light output when images are detected, ensuring optimal contrast and realistic images. Equipped with a fast dimmer, the laser projectors respond quickly to changes in brightness, delivering 20% more contrast than other SSI (Smart Scene Intelligence) models.
Frame-by-frame HDR video optimisation
New HDR10+ technology adds dynamic metadata to HDR10 source files, which is used to optimise each frame of HDR video and enhance detail in both bright and dark areas of HDR10+ content.
