Van Den Hul 's starting point in terms of pickup capsules is already very special, as befits a legendary brand in which the highest technology and the most genuine artisanal spirit go hand in hand. The DDT-II Special is a low-output voice coil design – meaning it requires proper preamp circuitry – that combines a Van Den Hul made stylus with a boron cantilever and carefully handcrafted voice coils. paired that use silver monocrystal windings. Added to this is a thicker front pole piece compared to the previous model and a small extra magnet that improves resolution and increases the output voltage.
