The Black Beauty Special GPX is a resolution-enhanced version of the GRASSHOPPER IV GLA, the improvements to which could only be implemented after switching to the completely metal-free and extremely revealing THIRD ® speaker cable from Mr. van den Hul's audio system. . The refined body of the Black Beauty Special GPX is made of black polycarbonate with approximately the same construction as the GRASSHOPPER IV GLA. The Black Beauty Special GPX sets new sound standards in analog playback. The auditory impressions are like being in the concert hall with a very precise projection of the instruments, the acoustics and even the conductor in the space. The music as a whole sounds extremely realistic and very convincing, with a lot of authority, especially in the bass and lower midrange. The high frequencies are very pure and extremely pleasant.
Improvements over the Grasshopper IV GLA:
- Improved magnetic design, construction and properties.
- Higher resolution due to improvements.
- The chassis is made of polycarbonate and the suspension uses a special shock-absorbing rubber.
