To celebrate the 80th Anniversary of its founding, Wharfedale released a special edition of one of its most popular speakers: the Denton. The Denton 80th Anniversary is a classic two-way bookshelf speaker that stands out for its completely handcrafted construction, the beauty of its mahogany finish and the traditional Wharfedale tungsten mesh protective grille, all elements that make it to this compact monitor in a classic update of the original model. Under the hood, the Denton 80th Anniversary is a perfect blend of traditional and advanced technology. Thus, the mid/bass speaker incorporates an innovative cone of intertwined Kevlar fibers, developed by Wharfedale and mounted on a highly rigid metal chassis. Combined with a dedicated textile dome tweeter, which equips a high magnetic flux ferrite magnet, the aforementioned midwoofer completes a perfectly integrated speaker system thanks to a particularly careful crossover filter. The original Denton gained a great reputation for the richness and warmth of its sound, and the objective of the 80th Anniversary edition is to preserve this character, providing extra naturalness and emotion to the presentation of the most demanding musical content.
