MOON 791 is much more than a preamplifier. It combines a high-end phono preamp and streaming DAC inside a top-notch analog preamp. Versatile in functions and with spectacular sound reproduction. It has seven digital inputs (including HDMI ARC), three analog inputs and two outputs (independently configured for fixed or variable volume). It is equipped with MDE2, a top-of-the-range DAC with FPGA re-clocking that reaches resolutions up to 32bit/384kHz and DSD256.
The MOON North 791 preamplifier can be connected via USB to a hard drive and features the MiND2 Roon Ready network player, compatible with Bluetooth and Airplay. The phono preamp is compatible with MM and MC cartridges, and can be configured in real time using the menu system.
Equipped with the latest version of the award-winning M-VOL3 potentiometer (the 3rd Generation of MOON volume control) it also features an improved electronic gain control with incredible precision.
