Building on the success of its predecessor, the Rena SA-1, the Rena SA-2 combines the latest in streaming technology from Electrocompaniet with a high-performance DAC section and amplifier circuitry, both designed and manufactured entirely in-house by the Norwegian company, to deliver a pristine audiophile listening experience. This means exceptional sonic clarity, impressive dynamic range and meticulous attention to detail whatever the musical recordings being played.
This is achieved by combining a 2 x 75 watt continuous Class D amplifier stage with high-quality components, a 24-bit/192 kHz D/A converter and a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip with 32-bit floating point arithmetic, which guarantees precise and smooth access to and playback of remote content offered by online music services such as Spotify Connect, Qobuz or TIDAL Connect (implemented in the device).
An ideal digital source for pairing with compatible active loudspeakers, such as the ultra-compact Tana L monitor and the Sira L-1 subwoofer, both belonging to The EC Living Line family from Electrocompaniet.
