A next-generation network music player that replaces the much-admired RS150B and benefits from substantial engineering innovations. Sporting the iconic aesthetics of its predecessor, the HiFi ROSE brings significant technological differences, the first of which is a signal processing circuitry equipped with the ROSE DPC module (imported from the brand new RD160 external DAC) and a particularly advanced D/A conversion scheme.
The DPC, which stands for "Digital Processing Core", includes ultra-precise synchronisation and improved alignment (DSD resampling) of the I2S interconnect bus.
The second key refinement introduced in the RS151 (also imported from the RD160) is the ROSE NRA filter, aka "Noise Reduction Analog", designed to eliminate noise and ensure a virtually flat frequency response curve even in the lower octave of the spectrum, preventing roll-off and reproducing with extreme transparency the information contained in the most demanding Hi-Res recordings.
In this respect, the sophistication applied to the design of the audio circuitry itself enables the RS151 to exhibit stratospheric records in parameters such as signal-to-noise ratio or total harmonic distortion plus noise ratio.
The RS151 is rounded off by exceptional user-friendliness thanks to the combination of its large, high-definition front display screen, enhanced connectivity and the power of ROSE OS management.
