Housed in a sleek steel and aluminium enclosure, the Synchro Uni incorporates unique electronic DC cancellation circuitry that rebalances the mains signal on the zero-volt line to dramatically reduce - even mute - the hum of power transformers. IsoTek's unique circuitry synchronises the mains signal to deliver a perfectly symmetrical sine wave, while also providing significant sonic improvements when used with any separate High Fidelity components. In addition, the Synchro Uni houses sophisticated silver-plated OCC ("Ohno Continuous Cast") copper cabling and includes IsoTek's proven VAD ("Virtual Air Dielectric") technology. Functionally, the Synchro Uni is designed to behave as a "pre-filtering" device and can be used with any commercially available power cable and mains conditioner. Specifically, what it does is to take the signal coming from the mains and realign its waveform before filtering out the contaminating elements contained in it - in the case of electromagnetic/EMI or radio frequency/RFI interference - and thus conditioning it.
