Integrated into IsoTek's Discovery range, the Elektra V5 is an elegant and compact mains conditioner consisting of six independent power outlets, equipped with individual cleaning circuits. Two of these sockets are dedicated to components that handle high currents, for which they use a design with choke coils and double Pi filters. For their part, the four remaining sockets can handle medium value currents from sources in which six-stage delta filtering networks are used, thanks to this, a cleanliness of almost 20 dB at 1 kHz is achieved in the power signal. which become almost 40 dB at 10 kHz, that is, ten times higher than the recommended standard.
To all this we must add another five independent filtering stages, which are placed between each outlet in combination with a version of IsoTek's exclusive Adaptive Gating system twice the size used in the EVO3 Aquarius model. In this way, Differential Mode cross contamination between shots is eliminated, optimizing the performance of each of them.
At the physical execution level, both the architecture and design of the Elektra V5 are in line with IsoTek's usual high standards, using key components tailored to have improved overall tolerances and improved inductance and current handling capacity. substantially superior to those offered by the EVO3 Aquarius. As a result, a more open and spacious sound scene, more precise dynamic microcontrasts and a higher level of detail are achieved.
