Part of IsoTek's new V5 range, the V5 Gemini is a two-socket power strip that features a design that avoids the influence of Differential Mode Noise (created by the load connected to the power strip, i.e. the components of our equipment) on these sockets.
On the other hand, the V5 Gemini incorporates an exclusive Delta filtering topology ten times greater than the standard one, in order to offer more than 20 dB of cleaning in the mains signal at 1 kHz, a figure that rises up to 42 dB at 10 kHz. In this regard, it is important to know that leading experts agree that it is at 10 kHz that radio frequency interference (RFI) starts to impact performance.
IsoTek's sophisticated engineering ensures that the V5 Gemini performs at the highest level when it comes to cleaning up both Common Mode noise and Differential Mode noise in the power signal, thanks to unique circuitry that delivers a clean mains signal to the sockets, which in turn are isolated from each other to prevent cross-contamination between the sockets.
The main printed circuit board of the V5 Gemini is also very special, containing twice as much copper as usual and silver plated, plus very high quality internal wiring with silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors and FEP ("Fluoratined Ethylene Propylene") dielectric.
