The V5 Titan is a dedicated mains signal cleaning system that incorporates three independent filtering networks in a single chassis, namely two for high current amplifiers and one for an active subwoofer. This makes it possible to drastically reduce cross-contamination between the different intakes due to Differential Mode noise from the mains.
The V5 Titan retains the 16-amp RCBO circuit breaker system of its predecessor, the award-winning EVO3 Titan, which offers at least 1,000 times the contact area of a standard fuse. In addition, the topology of the V5 Titan's printed circuit board has been substantially increased, with the copper loading on the PCB being 50% greater to improve current handling capability and reduce resistance.
The new circuit also has twice the inductance, with an 80% increase in the current it can handle, plus a significant improvement in DCR throughout the design. Taken together, the improvements introduced allow this very high level mains conditioner to deliver virtually unrestricted power and current within the limits of the power supply and current regulations.
