Circumaural type and baptized with the name D7000, these exceptional headphones are based on “planar” technology and integrated into the Final elite, especially highlighting the use of a base design that benefits from a different approach from that of the celebrated D8000 and D8000 Pro Edition, also equipped with planar magnetic transducers.
A logical evolution, since the starting point of the Final proposal in “planar” headphones dates back to 2017 and the continuous progress in engineering and materials in search of the ideal structural design has allowed us to redefine a product that at that time was groundbreaking.
Hence the two most unique developments incorporated in the D7000: the new “Pinna-Aligned Diffuser” and a more efficient version of the exclusive “Air Film Damping System (AFDS)”, the result being a perfect balance between the delicacy of the speakers “ planar” in the reproduction of the high frequencies of the spectrum and the volume and openness of their electrodynamic counterparts in the restitution of the bass.
Added to this is greater resolution in the ranges corresponding to voices and string instruments, a contribution that translates into a more lustrous and smooth sound.
