The Grado HP100 SE is a special edition headphone that pays homage to the HP1 model from the 1990s, designed with the brand's present and future in mind. Its main feature is a new 52 mm driver that provides excellent high-frequency resolution, smooth midrange and powerful bass with low distortion.

The headphones feature a paper composite cone and a high-flux magnetic circuit using rare alloys, which improves dynamics and transient response. The construction includes individually machined aluminium housings and detachable cables, a notable change from previous models, offering greater durability and flexibility.

In addition, they feature a new headband with 50% more padding for greater comfort during long listening sessions. Aluminium alloy gimbal stabilisers and steel height bars provide stability, allowing 105-degree rotation of the cups to reduce wear and tear.
