To ensure the Climate Series 3G remains in top condition for many years to come, outdoors in all weather conditions, the Monitor Audio design team created a fully sealed cabinet.
A single-piece molded enclosure, made from dense, fiberglass-reinforced ABS, protects the important elements inside for a lifetime of use. A large auxiliary bass radiator (ABR) and a fully sealed front baffle housing the drive units ensure the entire design can withstand the harshest weather conditions.
Climate Series 3G features an upgraded gold C-CAM dome tweeter, but coated in a deep black finish. Optimized to deliver the same high-fidelity, high-frequency performance as a regular gold C-CAM dome tweeter, only produced in deep black to match the black RST II mid-bass woofer and, more importantly, to provide ultra-discretion for indoor or outdoor speaker installation.
Developed and perfected over two decades, the RST II woofer is a highly refined precision tool, capable of being driven by the most powerful motor systems. The result: pistonic motion for total realism and clarity, and realistic, accurate high-fidelity sound that delivers a dramatically enhanced audio experience.
Inspired by Monitor Audio ’s patented Quik-Link connector, found on the Creator architectural series, the new system allows the speaker mount to be pre-installed on a wall, either vertically or horizontally. Speaker cables can then be pre-installed into internal speaker connectors found within the mount itself, all neatly concealed within and behind protective rubber seals to prevent water or dust ingress.
