Improved version of the versatile Phono Box DS model, which has incorporated a practical function display, this very compact and complete DS series phono preamplifier from Box Design is equipped with solid state technology based on the use of a simplified version of the exceptional circuit topology conceived by Dr. Sykora. To achieve this, selected components are used that combine high precision with a very low noise level, to which is added the convenience inherent in the possibility of configuring each device directly on the front panel, thus avoiding impractical jumpers and mini-switches of traditional designs. All switching – activation of the subsonic filter included – is carried out by relays, while the use of carefully selected amplification modules made with audiophile grade components guarantees a sound experience of the highest level – unsurpassed in terms of quality/price ratio. - with both moving coil (MC) and moving magnet (MM) cartridges.
