As befits a reference product signed by a legend of analog sound like Van Den Hul , The Grail is a prodigious electronic both in terms of conception and engineering, with details such as the absence of capacitors in the critical RIAA equalization circuitry , the use of printed circuit boards with treated gold tracks to suppress microphonic effects or the use of an input stage that automatically adapts to the characteristics of any moving coil (MC) cartridge.
